"Golden Nerves".

Those two words make up an expression in my language, meaning something similar to "Nerves of Steel". Basically, this is used to describe someone who can stay calm even during the most trying situations. It can also be used as an exclamation, when things get tough, meaning one would love to have "Golden Nerves" in that moment.

However, it can also apply as a description of someone who knows how to relax.
Like Batcat. The way he can shut out the world is amazing. And highly contagious. The below is taken this weekend as he managed to escape into the dreamworld for hours, while lying in front of the fire.

Is't it funny how words and expressions translate differently! Golden nerves - I love that.

Batcat looks so warm and comfy in those photos - cats make sleeping an art form! I love the top photo - he looks ever so slightly mischevious in that one.!

Someone once said I wonder what cats would do on vacation since their job is to sleep all day ;-)

Love the expression Golden Nerves!
I think I might need them today as I'm helping hubby take down our kitchen cabinets!
Our kitchen is such a mess and I just have to remain calm!
I can do it!
I can do it!
I know I can!

Good post for me today!
Thank you dear Zuzana.

I'd never heard that expression before!

I love all of your posts that even remotely include Batcat. This one I love simply because it brings back memories of my sweet little kitty who passed on just over a year ago and it made me smile. I still miss him every single day!

Thanks for your kind words on my blog. I've given you almost every award I've gotten simply because I love your blog that much! :) If I didn't, I wouldn't keep coming back every day! I do hope you'll pick up the latest award and display it proudly!

I wonder if Batcat is aware that he is now an Internet star with adoring fans all over the world. That cat must have "Golden Nerves" the way he is just lying back without a care.

Zuzana,
We can learn so much from cats. They don't worry. Spontaneous is good at relaxing too. When she relaxes, she sends out relaxing vibes for me.
Love the collage,
Kat

And I agree with all of you, cats know how to relax and as my Irishman says, they add “ambiance” to any household. They are so sleek and elegant and know how to play cute at all times.:)

Thank you all so much for your lovely words and kind visits that always put a smile on my face. ;))

I wish my nerves were a bit more golden. Maybe they would conduct energy impulses more efficiently that way! Your kitty is adorable, by the way.

Dear Laura, Batcat is very flattered by your words.;) Thank you for your visit.
