Looking For Spring...

Usually in my weekend posts I share with you some pristine pictures of the nature that surrounds me. Or of the stunning views out of my windows, capturing the beauty in plants, trees or the sky.
However, this would mean sharing yet a few winter pictures and I assume everyone is about to be fed up with that.

As I dislike to keep my posts completely picture-less, I did upload a picture as seen here above. It depicts a view I show rarely, although it deserves to be seen. Taken out of my kitchen windows, one can glimpse the sea in the distance. A view obstructed by birch trees in the summer, but absolutely magnificent in winter.

As for the rest of today's post instead of a collage, I decided to share with you my first small cinematographic attempt. It is not that good; still, I hope it will make you smile.

I think that the star of my film needs no introduction and the clip itself explains the sentiment.
All that remains for me to do now is to wish you all a lovely weekend - from all of us here in the white house on a hill.

Very clever and well done. But you can't fool me.. I know cats. Batcat was really only contemplating his next nap. ;)

I LOVE the fact that you can see the ocean from your kitchen window. THAT ALONE is HOPE in the midst of winter blahs!

AND, I always enjoy seeing Batcat and his wonderful, luxurious life...even HE longs for spring!

Dear Zu I loved that. It would be wonderful to see the water from your window. I love the water. None around me now though. Batcat has the right idea. Basking in the sun would be great. I always enjoy hearing from you and visiting. Thanks dear one for stopping by. Blessings

I have always wondered what cats are thinking when they sit and stare out the window so thanks for the movie!

But I must take issue with you living on a hill. Everyone knows Denmark absolutely and completely flat. *ducking and running*

I love that you have a view of the sea from your home! That must be very special. Are the beaches you go to that near by?

Well done you and Batcat! What program did you use? I have Windows Movie Maker, and guess I should give it a go some time. I love your text over the film and the choice of music... what a creative woman you are. Of course Batcat is a born star.

good job on the video! love the credits at the end. our winter is hanging on way too long also. just had a couple more snow storms this past week. I don't have my speakers hooked up yet so couldn't hear the song, (cannot find them yet is more like it!) they are packed away somewhere safe. :-)

Thank you for your advice. I tried to download the link you sent and while that worked, I still can't watch videos. :( I will do a little research to fix it because I REALLY want to see your video! Especially since I saw in the comments that Batcat is in it!

Zuzana,
Lovely post. Bat Cat looks so sweet. He looks like what we would call a "Tuxedo Cat", mostly dressed in a black tuxedo with the white shirt showing through at the neck and possibly white paws. Very good camera work. Hope you have a lovely weekend too.

Batcat is a star in the making. He appears to be an old pro at film making, so natural in front of the camera! The moment when he thinks he's spotted a leaf bud or maybe a droning insect is well acted. Bravo!

I LOVE IT!!!
It's really, really great!, and the star is fabulous as well! :-)) I want to make one of Lucas&Mateo now! :-)
A great video for the blues of winter (and the song is completely summer to me).
Have a great weekend Zuzana!!
*hugs*

Cathy, Hilary, Jill, QMM, Keera, BPG, Doreen, Radka, Kath, Brian, LadyCat, sprinkles, Kat, Stevie, Claudia, Betsy, Susan, C&V, Eternally Distracted, Mel, Philip, tony, Jeanne, Michael, Margie, Beep and Diane – Batcat is absolutely proud to have received so many compliments on his acting. I have a feeling that from now on he will behave slightly *diva* like, demanding special treatment.;) Now when he is a star and all.;)

Thank you all for your very kind words on my cinematography and I am also happy to hear that you enjoyed my sea view. It is indeed very tranquil and soothing to just rest your eyes on the blue body of water from time to time...

Thank you so much for stopping by – your visits always make my day.

Xoxo,

Nessa, I think snow pictures will have to be posted at least until the end of March. But hopefully with less frequency.;)xo
