Vernal Culmination.

As the second season reaches its peak, my surroundings are now saturated with the colour of vibrant bloom, mixed with that delicate soft green of young foliage, making me at all times stand back in awe and admiration. I try to hold onto these moments in time, with all my senses and my perception, knowing that they are so very fleeting an elusive.

Late spring of the North is magical at the best. It signifies the onset of the absolute best that nature here has to offer. Brilliance of platinum sunshine, turning into stunning sunsets and sunrises, that alternately set the sky on fire or submerge it into a silvery mist. The onset of extensive light evenings, the tender yet fervent bloom and the softness and the fresh scent of the air - it all holds an aura of endless enchantment.

Ultimately, spring brings about a collective atmosphere of happiness and joy, as nature awakens once gain. It reminds us of the continuum that is the circle of life -  that one single constant in the chaotic existence of humanity.

You're so right - about the circle of life being a constant, albeit a changing one...

Lovely spring photos!

I am glad that Norway is in its splendour and that is enveloping your senses.

And with that special someone, colour and flowers are always welcome (winks).

I wish you a beautiful week ahead with scent of flowers and the vibrancy of colours.

Joy always,

you are surrounded by such beauty there - and i think we all are, regardless of our geographical location - like life itself, it is what we make of it - but yours is truly a magnificently beautiful country - and i'm so happy you share these wonderful images with all of us!!! have a great weekend!

I believe every person who lives within the world of seasonal change welcomes Spring with much happiness, but I wonder if those of you who've just emerged from the dark of winter don't enjoy it more than the rest of us.

I hope I can visit Scandinavia one day. If I get the opportunity, I would choose to come in either late Spring or early Summer. Your descriptions of the light and sky in those months have had a profound influence on that decision.

Zuzana, are those beautiful blooms from you garden? How very very very lovely! I have to agree with you, late spring here is unlike anything else...I didn't even begin to experience anything like it in Canada...
Here it is magic!
Your description is so poetic and tranquil. My hope for you is that this spring is a time of beautiful renewal in your own heart as well. Take care my friend.

We are lucky enough to experience such a beauty. Mind you in other parts of the world they don't have the same opportunity...

Yes, lovely! Nugget would love to munch on those dandelions! :)
We've had so much rain that it's making it a little hard to enjoy the blooms!

What a beautiful description of this lovely time of year.

You certainly are a "Wordsmith," my Dear. So this makes it even more interesting, that your work is in a scientific field.

But, that only makes you more well rounded! Which is what most people wish to be. But not all of us, attain it.

Isn't nature always oh so very amazing? It wonders us every season (2 for us, but 4 for you), and while it can drive us to a point of "enough is enough" (especially with long months of rain, or snow), its beauty and magic will never cease to surprise us. You are having late spring, heading towards a wonderful summer (is it hot yet?) while we are switching the heat for rain (it's sticky and very humid still). June will be a definite mark in our seasons. June? already?! time flies.
Enjoy the wonderful blooming and colorful nature my friend!
hugs,
Claus
