Late Spring.

The title above invokes the feeling of an imminent seasonal change, but that is far from the case here, even though Mr. Summer sure did pay us a visit last weekend.

As the coldest May in 14 years, this last month of spring departs leaving us with bitterly cold wind, cloudy skies and temperatures resembling more those common in November. I am considering going back inside even though I am defying the weather gods, shivering while sitting on my patio, risking a case of severe pneumonia. The forecast though called for sun and thus I am in a certain disbelieve and left hoping that sun will eventually appear.

The fast moving clouds of various colours and texture do add a certain dramatic feel to the country side that surrounds me. In any room in my house, anywhere I look, I see beautiful views of landscape that from within the warmth of my home indeed do instigate the feel of late spring after all.

At the moment we have sunshine but the wind is chilly. Did some work in the garden, let's hope it will all turn out well.

Have a lovely sunny saturday.

I can tell from looking at the photos, that it is a bit chilly!(but it still looks lovely and so green...)

I so hope that June shows up with warm sun for you, Zuzana, so you can take off your boots and winter jacket.

The weather patterns seem to flip flop wildly these days--last year we had a cold and wet June. I remember wearing socks and turning the heat on in the car when I drove to work in the mornings.

Here, we are enjoying lovely pre-summer weekend with expected 21C* temps today. Wish you could join us for our canoe trip down the river.

Very pretty photos, Zuzana. I love cloud pictures or any kind of photos of the sky in all of her moods. We are having lovely weather, thank goodness.

It's Memorial Day weekend here in the States and our lake will be a busy place with kids on the beach and fishing boats. I'm going to spend the day gardening. I hope your weekend is pleasant, too.

Wow. The pictures are great. The clouds do paint the sky differently in all of them. It seems pretty chilly.
Have a good day!:)

Old Man Winter and Mister Summer seem to be having a battle as to who’s in charge.

I’m starting to wonder if I should rearrange the pages on my calendar to coincide with the weather outside.

Summer is almost here, yet it feels so far away when I go outside and have to bundle up still!

At least this weekend I don't have to wear a heavy winter jacket and snow boots like I did last Saturday!

I hope it warms up here and there soon so we can all enjoy the well-deserved sunshine!

I know how you feel Zuzana! It's cold and raining here today after a scorching weekend last week. We are promised a dry day tomorrow - I hope so - we have my MIL staying with us and we have planned some outdoor 'summer' pursuits. I hope Mr Summer pays us all another visit soon!

Lovely green and verdant pictures. Have a wonderful weekend dear friend:)

I am a bit preoccupied with my work this week, but I will try to catch up with all of you and your lovely writing in a few days.
On a happier note, June have started sunny and warm, thus I hope this signifies a good summer ahead.
