This week the foliage has started to visibly turn. Every morning, on my drive to work, I noticed more colours added to the trees lining the road.
This is the most beautiful part of autumn, when it arrives with all its splendor. Even if in many places in the Northern hemisphere the season has not even started, here it will soon reach its peak. The red, yellow and orange colours will initially grow in multitude, taking over the different hues of green. They will magnify and deepen until they reach the various shades of brown. The tress will so stand in this fiery glory until the storms of late autumn wipe away any trace of their colourful foliage in about five weeks.
Below my continuous update on the birch tree, which starts to finally be interesting. Each weeks brings a visible addition of yellow, signifying the onset of the Fall season.

The leaves there are a-changing here too. I hope you're having a great weekend, my friend. :)
Seeing summer go is sad, but I can't wait to feel the first nip of autumn. Crisp, nippy temperatures make autumn my favorite time of year weather wise. It is late arriving here this year. I've seen a few turning leaves but not many.
Hey there. I really enjoyed your post. I hope you've had a fantastic weekend. Take care. Have a wonderful week ahead. Cheers!
I don't know anything going on around me lol. You are so aware of everything!
That looks like such a beautiful place to live. The photo below of the pine cones in the foreground, the candles in the background and the window catching the open meadow has great depth of field. It gives the impression of being 3D. I sent you an e-mail with the answer to my puzzle.
It's a bit different for me since I live in the desert. I always wanted to see New Hampshire around this time. The tree looks healthier and this is a sign of Life! Very positive and interesting, Protege! :) Wishing you a nice Sunday!!!!!!
leaves are just starting to change here...a few more weeks and it will be a beautiful display of art...cant wait!
Hi there!
I dont know what Im trying to do by leaving this message. I certainly dont mean to cause you any form of sadness. But perhaps, in this simple manner.. Id be able to extend further help.
I just thought that people, the world over might want to know what happened. Even through a single person's perspective. I hope that it might move them and start a chain.. of good thoughts and prayers. We all know how powerful that could be.
So there it is. I hope you help me spread the word. Ive written it all down. On my blog.
Thank you very much, dearest!
xx
This is the beaty of the nature .. it changes colors .. it brings so much variety into life. It is like change in mood!
I like the way you follow and document the changes!
I have noticed quite a few of the leaves are falling off the trees already. colors have not started yet where I live but it won't be long.
First of all congratulations on your well-deserved awards!
Whilst your Scandinavian autumn is well and truly under way, here in Suffolk we are enjoying a resurgence of fine settled weather; an Indian Summer! Today has been glorious, with clear deep blue skies and warm sun - the trees are beginning to turn colour however and there are plenty of blackberries, sloes and rosehips in the hedgerows.
Look forward to seeing more of your ever-changing birch tree.

The color changing in nature is what I probably admire the most about Autumn. So lucky you have this season...and lucky me to have friend like you who share it with those of us who live in countries where summer seems to be eternal...a good thing also I suppose ;-)
I know that the onset of winter looms over you like a dark cloud,...but I am truly jelous of your Autumn colors!! They are gorgous!!! This time of year always makes me want to create. I get an anxious fluttery need to express myself that I can't describe. It is almost like my spirit grows to large for my body. My scences are hightened. It is a feeling that I love.
Even at our best here we never have a fall so drenched in colors as yours. Thank You for sharing!!! :):)
Love, -Holls
These images of autumn shows to me how to age gracefully. I just hope that the autumn of my life will be coloured with the grace of nature in its changing spendour and blissful passing. A kind reminder for old dudes like me:). Looking forward to more beautiful pictures of autumn from up north.
The change and the diversity is beauty!
Just beautiful! On our way back from our camping trip we saw a bunch of changing leaves. It was just beautiful!
Nice post!

The leaf colors are just starting to be noticeable here, too. Any day now, too-- I'll be out with the dog and will smell woodsmoke from a neighbor's stove, too. A sure sign of autumn! :-)
I am sure you enjoy a beautiful view of the changing colors when you simply look out towards the "common land" you have behind your home.
=Tina,
yes, I guess the foliage is turning everywhere now.;) We do have similar weather conditions, I believe, although I think you have a bit warmer summers and colder winters.;))
I do enjoy my views, so right you are.;))
