Poems, Pendants And Praise...

When I started to publicly express my thoughts online a few years back, I did not really know what to expect. The world of blogging was a completely unknown territory, and even though I enjoyed the idea of exploration, I also felt apprehensive and insecure.

What surprised me the most was the collective feeling of friendship, kindness, mutual respect and courteous conduct, that rules the blogging community. The genuine love and affection that all of you at all times express while you visit me - whether in your comments, your emails or just in the interest you take in reading what I have to say, sharing my pain and happiness.

I am way overdue acknowledging three ladies who have express their appreciation of my writing and our friendship.

The lovely Mimi whose giveaway I won - what feels like ages ago - and the book that was the prize has since become my most prized possession. The poems expressed within are as gentle as they are profound.
My absolutely first and oldest friend here, dearest Holly, a beautiful woman inside out, who send me a precious necklace with a plethora of symbolic pendants -  just like that, for no reason at all. Words fail me... so rarely do I get a gift out of the blue...
And last but not least -  the gorgeous Adrielle, a poet with a sensitive mind and soul, who honored me with a blog award - thank you so much.

I dedicate this post to all of you reading this, who have become my very dear friends and I would like to express my gratitude with help of Batcat below. He is my bellowed companion and best friend and a true symbol of unconditional love and devotion.

Wonderful Zuzana-

there is so much love in this post- in your pictures (oh- Batcat is a gem) that I feel warm and full of good feelings in the moment. It gave me a smile on my face - thank you :-)

I think- you earn what you give... I am a big fan of the "kybalion"- (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kybalion) . There are always opposites. And so it teached me: you get what you give... I hope, my English is as good, that you understand, what I mean ;-)

So enjoy your wonderful friendhips- you are a special woman and your words are like a warm wind. Good for the sould...

Enjoy your day- Ines♥

What a handsome picture of Batcat! I used to have a black and white cat, his name was Stash because of his prominent Mustache. His mother was Ebony, for she was all black. Anyway, as I have told you before it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and you totally deserve the award and all the love that's been shown to you! The blogging world is a wonderful and loving place and I'm so glad to see you have found the same. Blessings!!

The love and friendship online is beyond anything I ever imagined, I lived among people but often felt quite lonely...I too feel enriched by the connections, the openhearted, wholehearted, down to earth, real people who are here all around us but we never would have met if not for the internet.

I'm so happy to have connected with you!

Hello Zuzana!

... collective feeling of friendship, kindness, mutual respect and courteous conduct, you say? Bit I hate you! :-))) But I'm joking, just in case you did not noticed...

Thanks for this wonderful post. Used correctly, Internet is a wonderful thing. I now have more friends, and I mean true friends, several of which we now meet on a regular basis. Either here, or in the US, or in France... and my blog now has an important role in that respect.

How lovely both the poem, necklace and award...and Batcat as well. He could be brother to our dear Sylvester. I have become quite the cat person in my later years.

I oftentimes find myself awestruck at the friendships found amongst our blogging community. I value each one as well.

I’ve found that when you open up with your heartfelt feelings you draw people of similar values.

I see blogging as writing a column in the newspaper, if a person does not want to read, they can click away.
You have a very uplifing way of expressing your feelings and even in the rare times when a touch of sadness infilters them, it is done in such a gentle way, that it encourages me to come back to read more.

Thank you Dear Zuzana, for sharing so much with us.

Not all in blog land, is as lovely as your words paint it to be. But... And a big but... Perhaps Karma is at work, here too. :-) In that, what one puts out into the Universe, or in this case, into the Blogesphere, comes back in kind.

You express lovely thoughts and words, here. And according to you, you have received back. Lovely.

Hugs & ♥'s,
Cause Valentine's Day is coming!

As I drove to my first day of class this morning, I thought of you. The moon was so bright and full. I remembered your previous posts on it.

I've really enjoyed my blogger friends too. I've had four people send me things for no reason at all and I so appreciated it! Once I'm financially stable again, hopefully I can return the favor to others.

It's a great community.
We all have different reasons for getting in to blogging some are looking for something that seems missing in their day to day life.
Some to build a business and some just for fun. (mine was to find out where i stood as an artist and figure out where to take it).
.
But the thing that we all have in common is (however unintentionally) that we all establish a connection with someone we have never seen face to face on a levbel of friendship.
Only personality matters in blogging and that's why it's so great. at least to me that is. lol

Hugs & much love to you, Zuzana!!!
