The Smiling Moon.

Yes, yet another post about the moon - but how can I resist?
On the evening of the full moon I was privileged to watch it rise above the ocean, in the company of someone special, as its reflection spilled like liquid silver over the ebony surf, creating a magical moment, locked in space and time - and furthermost in my perception.

This morning though I had to marvel watching the moon set during a magnificent violet dawn. Still almost full, I finally managed to preserve its enchantment through a semi-decent image - compliments of my brand new camera, that deserves a post of its own.

On one of the pictures a bird passed my view, creating a smiling face in the morning sky. And that put a smile on my face as well - hope it will on yours too.

Hi, my Love-

first- thank you for you last comment- it´s a pleasure for me, that we met and I enjoy such wonderful people like you- they are counted in this world :-)

I don´t know, how to shoot such a perfect picture. It´s so beautiful and I love it!
I thought of you while the full moon *heehee and I tried to make a photo, too- but it looks so awful- I am not a good photographer (and I have a wonderful new camera, too) so I enjoy yours...

This color- great!

I saw this moon with my lovely twins- they are special for me... so: sharing wonderful moments- the best you can do...

Thank you for sharing your moonstory!

Enjoy your day- mine is busy as always... but the weekend is near.

The moon is always so beautiful, cool and remote while the sun, jealous of her mystique, requires that we avert our eyes from his raging hatred, all the while only wishing to visit her boudoir and worship at her feet...

Even we had a full moon last night. Maybe we saw the same mmon at different times. Lovely to reflect upon those connections, dear Zuzana. The pictures look so real. I could almost eat the moon up. It looked so tangible.

The little bird which appears as a speck increases the artistic value of the picture.

Lovely post as well as images.

Joy always,
Susan

That HUGE full moon we had a couple of nights ago made me think of a harvest moon rather than a winter moon; very unusual, but beautiful.

Zuzana the enchanting full moon shone bright last night and has ascended into the sky again tonight, she peeped out from behind the clouds so gracefully to display her beauty and light for all those who would look up and take notice.

Before I read the post I saw the first pic and said to myself; "That doesn't look like something you can take with a point and shoot camera."

The violet sky looks like a view from a different planet.

Oh Zuzana,
These are fabulous shots!!! That bird... I wonder if he knows how famous he is now (even more, little would he care!) But the "man on the moon"...The bird really enhances his smile! And the color of the sky... really special. Yes, do tell about your new camera!!
Batcat is just gorgeous. Those eyes!!! And his silky fur! What a handsome fellow! Give him a big cuddle for me...and I will do the same to Edward for you...right now he's on the rocking chair behind me waiting for me to stop clicking on the keyboard and get down to the business of playing!
Have a great weekend!

Okay, there are a few important tidbits in this post. First of all the moon, so beautiful and your photos, they should win a prize somewhere, then the camera, I envy you 'cause I want a new one, but then there's the part about someone special and that's special.

I so enjoy your writing and wish you the very best in life and romance.

Beautiful photos of the lovely moon. I like the "smile". I had an experience with the moon and birds this morning, too. I was driving to work and the almost full moon was in front of me. A large flock of birds flew right in front of the moon and there were some bare, stark trees in the view. It was awesome! I paused to give thanks to our Creator for such beauty for me to enjoy on my way to work.

Zuzana,

THE MOON IS ALSO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TIME TO FEED OUR SPIRIT OF STATE, THE ECSTASY OF A ROMANTIC MOMENT. HE LIGHTS THE NIGHT, AND THE SOUL, THE EYES, AND OUR BEST FEELINGS. BEAUTIFUL IMAGES.

HUGS,

What IS it about the moon that is so enchanting and intriguing? I remember years ago when my then two year old daughter looked up at the half moon in the night sky with a crestfallen face and exclaimed "Mama, the moon is broken"!
I love your poetic, lyrical way with words, Suzanna. You have such a gift.

Wow what a photo capture.. Yes it put a smile on my face.
I always write a wish and burn it to the full moon..this month I wrote the wish and discovered I had no matches...I talked to the moon though I couldn't see it through the clouds..I hope that was sufficient.. I just bought a bunch of new matches.

To those of you who inquired about my company - I can assure you it was a prefect one in every way and more might be disclosed later.;)
And to those who asked about my new camera; it is a Canon, PowerShot G12. I am still trying to learn all it can do, but so far it seems to be a magnificent piece of equipment and I am thrilled.

Thank you everyone as always so much for taking the time to stop by.
