Crayola Sky.

Late fall equals perpetual twilight in Scandinavia.
Our days have lost about ten hours since the summer solstice and this can certainly be perceived.

Yet as always, even the darkness brings moments of absolute enchantment.
If the weather conditions are right, over the course of the next couple of months, I will be once again granted the privilege to watch stunning sunrises as I set out on my daily commute.

Below is a selection of crayola skies - alluring works of art painted by an unseen artist upon dawn, as they passed my windows in recent mornings, dispersing momentarily the feel of everlasting dusk.

Incredible skies where you live, Zuzana!
We haven't had much snow yet, but one of my most favorite things about winter is how the snowy mountains look pink with the morning sunrise. Such a beautiful time of year!
Be well & happy, my friend!
Hugs,
Zuzu

Awesome skies! I love twilight and the night skies. I think I might enjoy your seasons. There is much less pressure when the skies are dark.
Thinking of you and hope your work decisions are becoming more clear for you.

Hi my dear far away friend,I hope this business activity will give me and my husband the economical possibility to start living, now no our home, no our furniture,no a Country that I love...this is a surviving, not life.I do feel that I will loose many virtual "friends",when my heart tells me something,I know that is true...and now it's shouting me that, because I will be away from the blog and I see already many misbehaviour from people I couldn't wait those.Life teach us sometimes using disappointing us,the important is to go on.I wish you all the best you can desire,God bless you !

Does the sun stay that low all day?

I think you would hate it where I live (just below the 45th parallel) because it's gray almost every night in winter, and I can't even imagine being where you live because it would be so alien to anything I have ever experienced that I would find it unsettling. Winter is an unsettling time for me anyway, and I spend it hoping that it will hurry up and end.

It's getting dark here at just gone 15 hrs, so we need those beautiful skies to help us greet and say farewell to the short short days.

Lovely lovely sky shots!

Gorgeous skies Zuzana. Inspiring and it must make up for living in semi darkness. We have very short days here, too, but nothing like what you have to cope with. But it's important to take what we can from every season, and you certainly do that.

Omigod I love those skies. This is a gift given to us from time to time. And here you made a perfect job out of it.

I do prefer the second last one, probably because of the road that one can hardly see in the dark.

Roger :-)
