This was a Christmas gift from the Irishman and I simply had to post a picture of my new slippers.;) They are
HUGE and
VERY pink.
I look indeed dashing when I wear these around the house. They must be either female Hobbit feet or very fancy pink Ogre-girl feet. But, I do love them to bits, as they are so cozy and warm. Of course, it took a few days for Batcat (the cat) to get comfortable around them, but by now he and the
"pink feet" have become best buddies. That after the terror of the initial encounter has passed.

Oh my. I don't even know what to say. Except that I think your slippers need a pedicure! ;)
I had these huge 'doggie' slippers once and my cocker spaniel, who was a puppy when I got them, contstantly attacked them when I had them on. I was forever walking around the house, dragging a little black dog behind me :)
Now those are some great slippers! I have some soft, warm red ones I adore. Hello, by the way, I came over from Betsy's spot.
You have brought a smile to my face! Love those pinky feet. I'm afraid Otis and Riley would have a hay day with them.
Hugs,
Donna
Too cute! Last year, I was given a pair of great big elf slippers. They're SO hard to walk around in but are they ever warm. I'd be tempted to paint those nails different colours. Your Irishman is fun, lassie. ;)
What a wonderfully whimsical gift. :)
Your Irishman knows how to keep your feet warm and happy!
We are indeed sisters in Love Me, Love My Booties Land! I like 'em!
Oh my! They look like they would glow in the dark! If you ever need to get up in the middle of the night, you won't need a night light! I can just see your cat being leary! :)
These made me laugh out loud. They just caught me so off guard, as I am sure that they did you when you opened them. What a hilarious, fun present. I am sure glad that the Mister has a quirky sense of humor.
And give my best to Batcat. I am really glad that he has come around! After all, ones cat, ones self, and ones slippers do need to learn to live harmoniously! :)
:-) Very nice description of the gift.
Diane, I can just imagine the picture of you walking around with cute slippers and a cute dog.;) It is funny how animals respond to these furry things.;)
Rosezilla, hi! I think all “girls” need warm fuzzy slippers. I have to yet meet a woman who doesn’t have cold feet.;) Thanks for stopping by.;))
Donna, glad to hear that, I like to make people smile. And I am sure Otis and Riley would love my pinky feet as well.;))
Hilary, painting the toenails different colours is a great idea!;)) So, elf slippers? You got to send me a picture of those.;) Yes, my Irish man is definitely fun.;)
BPG, could not agree with you more – this speaks volumes to the kid in me.;)))
Mahmud, yes, he knows my feet are constantly freezing and found a remedy for it.;) I like your new picture, very colourful!
Mel, I knew this post would appeal to you, I remember you once said you liked fuzzy booties!;))
Betsy, they almost do glow! In the dark and in the daylight as well; I cannot blame the cat for being freaked out by these at first.;))
Holly, they did caught me of guard completely, but I really love them, as they look very funny when I wear them.;) And they are VERY warm. Batcat sends his regards back.;)) I really make sure he has an exciting life, don’t I.;))
Ajeya hi! Thank you for your nice comment and for stopping by.;))
Haha! Those are great! The perfect gift to brighten up any morning.
Michelle, yes, they do bright up my mornings and additionally keep my feet warm.;))
