Prose Interlude.

There comes a time when we simply need to return to our life and give it our undivided attention.

For me that time is now.

My writing here endlessly reflects my frank thoughts and my genuine state of mind, as that is the only way I know how to write.
Occasionally though, I realize that I can not continue doing that and concurrently hold back so much of the whole truth. However candid I might come across here, there are still parts of my reality that need to be kept private, until I am ready to share them publicly.

Rather than be torn between writing that is unsubstantial, superficial and forced and the strong urge to disclose it all, I have decided to take a writing interlude.
I am looking forward to focus completely on the changes that are taking place in my reality and when the time is right, I will return to this beautiful world of candid prose, abundant with my personal reflections.

See you soon dear friends.

I quite understand what you are saying Zuzana. I will miss you, but wish you well and hope that those changes aren't too demanding of you.
What lovely photos from your last post.

Life is beautiful despite everything. Like in 'all the small things' you will be fine too. Just know that you are welcome on my doorstep.

Hi Zuzana
I totally understand where you are coming from with this post, it can be difficult to decide what to reveal and what to leave out, and your need to focus on life in the 'real world'.
I hope you don't stay away too long - I'll miss you!

Take the time you need for yourself, that is very important. I understand what you are saying about our blogs. I post almost none of my poetry because some read too much into it and know me too well. I, too keep my blog "light" for that reason. So I know what you mean about it sometimes feeling superficial.
Enjoy some time spent in the summer breezes and by the beautiful ocean. And take care of you...you deserve it : )

It is always wise, to do, what we know we need to do.

I wish I could wrap you in much love, and many gentle hugs, for your 'journey.' Be well. Figure things out. Come back, when you know it is the right time to do so.

Meanwhile, we will miss you. And continue to send good wishes/thoughts your way.

Gentle hugs,

dear zuzana,

this is a very wise and inspired decision. sometimes blogging or sharing so much with others can be energizing, sometimes draining. if the latter, then it's definitely a good idea to take time away for yourself, spent in meditation, reading a good book, going into nature.

blessings to you as you focus on the changes taking place in your life. may your days be filled with love, joy and peace.

with love,

amanda

I will miss you, dear Zuzana, but I do understand, and, as alwasy, you put it so eloquently.
Here's a little quote I came across on another blog that you might like, while you're on break "each day comes bearing its own blessings; untie the ribbons".
Enjoy each day, dear friend.

I look forward to your returning to posting Zuzana. I can understand your need to write yet your need to maintain your privacy. I often have a conflict with myself about how much I should share of myself on my blog. That's probably why I do so many meme posts.

Zuzana,
You are such a beautiful soul and profound writer. I will miss you, but welcome you back when you are ready. Everyone needs a sabbatical at times. My life has been so busy and I find myself so weary, that I haven't had the time to write or visit blog friends as much as I would like. Sometimes I feel that my life is under seige--the tyranny of the urgent, but am not achieving or experiencing what I feel my purpose is. Does that make sense? Anyway, I hope you return refreshed and energized at the right time.
Fondly,
V

I don't just sit and write. I get the "urge"and start with a few notes that expands to many thoughts and becomes reality.

Zuzana, though I'll miss you I totally understand the need for a break. Please have a wonderful time and as the Buddha says, "suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy." You will be refreshed.

You are so loved!! I do love your writing and think that you have a gift for expressing yourself in a way that touches people. A way that helps us feel a connection to you. But, I do understand your need to take the time to reflect on personal matters. I think you are brave, and wise. Times like these are the times that make your writing even more thoughtful and deep. We will all be here when you return.

p.s. I was so overjoyed to see the necklace that I made you on your header!
