I gently tried to bring her back to what Christmas is FOR, and told her as best I could what I know about the scientific and religious explanations for Christmas and the star. <br /><br />It got complicated! What a coincidence! :-)<br />I have watched plenty of documentaries about Christianity on TV. I love those!, as they bring a different perspective. Religious-wise, it is all a matter of faith, and in a way, to believe blindingly. But it is also amazing to learn the possible scientific facts, as after all, many Biblical happenings are the result of natural phenomena, commonly known today, but certainly surprising and mysterious back then.
