Favourite Christmas Candles.

Being far up in the North means way too little light comes December. Just this morning there was a discussion on the Danish television that any light, even candlelight, is beneficiary during the long, dark Scandinavian winter.
Well, I do not have to be told twice; every evening I lit several candles and here are a few favourite ones of mine.

  1. So pretty! You have to tell me how you do the collage photo thing... I can't figure that one out.

Oh, and if you'd like to play the favorite things/letter game, I'm happy to come up with a letter for you! :)

  4. There really is something about the soft flickering light of a candle that has such a calmimg effect.

I really like the picture collage too! :)

  7. Diane, thank you so much. I will be happy to share the collage making technique with you.;)

Kari and Kijsa, thank you so much for your kind comment and thank you for stopping by.;))

Thank you so much Donna, I appreciate so much when you stop by.;)

Holly, I agree with that, one can get lost in thoughts in the light of candles, it is almost like a meditation. Thank you for that compliment.

Michelle, the outdoor one is my favourite, as it creates a cosy atmosphere even outside the house.;)

Leon, thank you for stopping by, happy to hear you like them all. ;))

  8. I do the same. That huge supply of tea lights and candles that's been sitting in a cupboard all summer is now dwindling fast. I have four candles lit right now, including a foot-tall, thick red one, which is quite Christmassy ("julete").

  9. Keera, I know the tea candles, they are so popular here, I could never find them in the US. Isn't it amazing that in the summer I can barely get through a 3h tea-candle (if I use any at all, or as you say, they lie around in the cabinets), while in the winter I use only the 8h ones.;)
Your red, foot tall candle sounds just like my kind of candle.;))

  12. Cairo, thank you for stopping by; yes they are all mine and now in the winter often all lit at the same time as well.;)

Belle, I agree completely; more romantic and more cosy for sure.;)The only good thing about winter and the dark are candles.;)(except for a fireplace as well)

Welcome and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I appreciate your words and thoughts and your visits and feedback mean a lot to me, even though I no longer find the time to respond to your comments - unfortunately.
However, be assured I read every single word and will let you know in one way or another, that I do.:))
